As stellar as that would be, we're not gonna suddenly look like a Petrino offense.

I hope this isn't true, but I do think the offense we will most resemble will be LSU of 2012.

Hopefully there will be a short, middle of the field, passing game to go along with everything else. This is what I believe was missing the last couple of years, as Les chose to avoid these turnover-prone plays and throw the ball mostly to the outside or deep, so the tips and overthrows would be incompletions instead of turnovers.

We'll probably see a more varied offense that moves the ball better, scores more, and, yes, turns it over more.

Remind me what Ark won in 2010?

And many pass happy offenses have won nc's?

I doubt it. Arkansas averaged 333.7 passing yards per game in 2010.

The thing that always amazed me about Petrino's offenses was the way that receivers were consistently getting open and catching passes in stride, running down the field.

I think we'll see a much improved passing game, but I wouldn't expect the production to be equivalent to the 2010 Hogs, but you never know.

I'd rather 200 yards rushing per game than 300 yards passing per game.
