i saw him on the carrie underwood tour a few weeks ago in lafayette and he was unreal. i always liked him and thought he was a great guitar player but seeing him in person really showed how good he really is at what he does.

Not really my thing.

But if you enjoy him, then by all means, listen on

Well, first of all, I'm a girl.

Second of all, don't be such a twat. I do love Turnpike. And AA. Do I think they're the only bands on Earth? No. They are my friends. I support my friends and do my part to spread the word. I was trying to be nice about your shitty taste in music, but forget it.

I'd rather listen to the soothing sounds of three gorillas gang banging a leprechaun for the rest of my life than hear one more Hunter Hayes song.

I don't really like his style or his music, but I watched him live and he is really talented.

He's just doing what is working. What should he do, Swamp Pop

I'm from Lafayette so he'll always be that 5 year old kid playing his accordion at the Crawfish Festival in Breaux Bridge to me.

I just think it's funny that this dude continues to criticize my taste in music when he actually went to a Carrie Underwood concert. ON PURPOSE.

I don't give a shite what other people listen to. The OP just shouldn't ask for the board's opinion on something if he isn't willing to accept that it may be different from his. That's all. :)

I'm sure the kid has talent. Still not my cup of tea.

Yeah, it's hard to detach one's self from that image of him LOL

I met his Mom years ago when she was a PE Teacher in Laffy. Met his Dad last year at one of my dealers and also met his sister (who happens to be really sweet) She is also a singer - imagine that.

Well, considering that the last time you responded to me in a thread you said this:

quote:

i guess he should listen to turnpike troubadores or american aquarium, right L Boogie? dont you know those guys? and dont you know RRB? ...

Can you blame me for assuming it was just more of the same?

P.S. It's troubaDOURS.

We also talk about Ryan Bingham, Chris Knight, Sturgill Simpson, Dirty River Boys, Reckless Kelly, Mickey and the Motorcars, Jason Boland and the stragglers and Robert Earle Keene.

We also talk about how shitty mainstream country artists are now.....

So your statement would be false
