"Wouldn't hold out much hope for the tape deck though... or the Creedence."

But I'll go with Someday Never Comes

Fortunate Son is the greatest rock n roll song ever recorded.

It's a great one, that's for sure. I saw .38 Special do that song in a concert years ago and they completely knocked it out of the park.

..and my least favorite CCR song. Actually, that's not entirely accurate. I truly dislike it.

fortunate son is great. so many great songs. talk about burning the creative candle at both ends. barely wasted a track on 6(?) albums.

And its truly unsurprising we have completely opposite tastes on something. But if you wanna know what I want out of my rock n roll -- Fortunate Son is a great place to start. I even like that it's only about two and a half minutes. There is no BS to that song at all. It's simple, furious, and it rocks like hell.

I would have predicted this. The song certainly fits previous posts of yours.

"I Put A Spell On You." Not a CCR original, but it's a kick arse version of the song. As for originals, I'll go with "Born On The Bayou."
