Yeah if I had nothing better to do I probably could. But for now you'll just have to settle for the three that have already been mentioned in this thread.

Pics or it didn't happen.

If it was even remotely close defensively, and the difference in offensive production is as big as we all assume, don't you think he would be playing? Maybe Mainieri already has the powerpoint.

Id say the difference is equal.

Stevenson vs RHP

Foster vs LHP

This is exactly how imagine the conversations go in the coaches office. And it's why we have seen so many variations in center and right. :nb4itwasjavisideatostartlairdandstevenson:

I wouldn't be against a Stevenson/Foster platoon.

Why is it retarded? The goal should be having the 8 best defensive players on the field. If the top 3 defensive outfielders arent playing, they should be. Having the DH allows you to play the 9 best offensive players. It's not hard. If Rhymes is not one of the 3 best defensive outfielders, which he isnt, then he should DH.

Think about it, who is DH right now. Would you bench him?

If McMullen is a better defender, sure. Why not flip flop them?

Tell me why not. The would both still be in the lineup and the better defender is on the field. How is this at least not considered?

lol, give what up? I just made a simple statement. If you have two players that can take up two spots in the batting order but one spot in the field, why wouldnt you play the better defender more often?

Foster and McMullen are our 2 worst outfielders

Because the 8 best defenders aren't always part of the best 9 offensive players. There are trade offs in each direction....it's what the entire thread is about.

I dont get this. Rhymes will not be a high draft pick anyway. We should be playing the best team available to win for LSU and not have an agenda for attempting to boost certain player's draft stock.

Rhymes has given until it hurts for LSU baseball including giving his scholarship away to help the team remain competitive. LSU is doing the right thing by granting him the indulgence of playing left field. To his credit he has improved his angles.
