Mancini wasn't ever going to lead them to European glory. He sucked in Europe when he was at Inter, and he sucked at Man City. He was a massive step up from Mark Hughes, who was a fricking idiot on the transfer market.

completely agree. After they canned hughes a lot of the media and some of the players were up in arms about it, but buying robinho, santa cruz, wayne bridge, et al is still hurting us. On top of that the guy was regularly losing and drawing to bottom of the table teams.
