He was such a STUD at Louisville. I thought he was a "can't-miss" kind of guy.

5 different teams in 4 seasons, now making $244k/yr? That sucks.

He was already a headcase when he was at Louisville.

being on that many teams lets you know what the league thinks of him. my rockets keep getting these guys second hand, thinking they can salvage them, but they always end up disappointed. thabeet, williams, jordan hill, jonny flynn-- freaking half of the 09 draft class - and im afraid we have another addition to the list: thomas robinson.

i guess the moral to the story is a team is very unlikely to give up on a guy if hes got a chance at turning out.

I'm a huge Williams fan and followed him from his Freshman year at Louisville. His career is only mildly surprising; he does a lot of things pretty well but nothing really good. Although his shooting improved, he has never been a good shooter. He also had some attitude issues early on in the NBA (and college for that matter). The key for him having a career from here on out is learning to play PG well enough to be a second rotation guy to run the offense.

What the Rockets do is actually very smart all they need is for one of these guys to pan out. Got them at bargain prices and for what $244k a year?

6'6", and he did play Forward at UL, but he was moved to SG when he went to the Nets.

He never was a particularly great shooter, but he could get to the rim and he is a lot of athleticism.

Dwayne Wade wasn't exactly Reggie Miller when he won his first Title with the Heat.
