Alabama has played 908 fewer defensive snaps over the last four seasons than Oklahoma St. That is the equivalent of roughly one season, or 12 games.

high octane offense equals defense on the field too long. Nothing surprising

High octane offense wears their own defense down. NFL should be worried.

I'd say it's been a big part of our success. You disagree?

Every single team in the left column runs a no huddle offense

It's not that big of a shocker that teams who consume less clock on offense, take more defensive snaps. Just like teams who consume more time on offense, take less defensive snaps.

Sorry, I'll put it in your language... RAAAAAWWLL TIDE

people think the way to beat high octane offenses is to run down their throat. More plays.

lol at you rednecks getting butthurt. Obviously HUNH offenses are going to score quicker and the defense will be on the field longer. Most times the quick-paced offenses breed shitty defenses, though.

I do not post on the SEC rant. I dislike mouthbreathers.

Your posts on this thread are prime examples of why statistics are dangerous in the wrong hands.

frick gun control legislation. Congress needs to pass a law regulating the use if statistics on the internet.

Bama fans seem to think this stat means one thing...while everyone else sees the total picture of the teams in each column and understands it simply means the scheme of another thing. Ball hog slow plodding offense vs. scoring TDs in 2 minutes offense.
