Thought this was an interesting poll. Not only is the coach of the year out of the playoffs but the 2nd and 3rd place finishers are 1,2 in the poll.

I think Woodson over achieved. Outside Melo, JR, and Chandler that team is god awful and old as hell.

Doc Rivers won a championship his first season with his less talented Big 3.

These guys have played a lot together. They will learn to play together no matter who the coach is.

Their front office had done a great job surrounding Bron and D Wade with shooters and role players.

Any coach in the league could have done what Spo has done with the Heat.

I will pose this question again, because every time I ask it, people don't have shite to say.

If anybody can win with the Heat's roster, then what does that say about Scott Brooks? He has as much talent as the Heat does.

I don't think Spo is rated very highly - at least by the viewing public.

I'd say the Pittsburgh Penguins coach has been ineffective, considering they've lost twice already to the Islanders

wait, so when TNT puts a camera on the Heat bench and Spo is coaxing the boys with, "Guys, let's just settle in. It will come to us"......that isn't great coaching?

i'll take a crack at this brain puzzler you've posed for us.

2012 - 2013 : #1 seed in the West
2011 - 2012 : made it to the NBA championship
2010 - 2011 : Western Conference Finals
2009 - 2010 : Conference Semis losing to NBA Champions

with a younger, less experienced team than the Heat. HOW has he not been fired yet!?! Jesus you're an idiot.

to be fair, the islanders were the 6 seed with one day left in the season. it's not like they're a shite team.

No he doesn't.

LeBron > KD when it comes to getting his teammates involved.

I'd say Westbrook and Wade is a wash.

James Harden disappeared in the Finals last year. Bosh is a stretch 4 with good range.

The supporting cast of the Heat is much better than OKC's.

Scott Brooks got OKC to the Finals last year and the number 1 record this year in the toughest conference.

Right. Spo is overrated because he coaches a team full of All Stars, so he would win regardless.

Oh wait, didn't Mike D just coach a team full of All Stars? Yeah, he did, and how did that work out for them exactly? First round exit with the seventh seed.

i guess....but a whole lot of different variables involved with the Lakers and the Heat.

here's the question. how many coaches of the 30 teams in the NBA couldn't manage to get the Heat's roster to the playoffs?

How the hell did Popovich get 7 percent of the vote? Guy shouldn't have received a single vote in this category. He's one of the best coaches of all time.

Much worse team plus were plagued with injuries. Had no training camp with the team so no real time to practice. Nash is no where near as good as anyone in Miami's big 3.

Miami didn't win their first year either with a much better roster.

God Miami fans are dumb
