your dodging. No I'm not a conspiracy nut
I'm not dodging, and sorry about the conspiracy nut thing. Battling a broken tooth so that came out rougher than it had to.

There is no proof that Obama personally or even indirectly ordered the military off of the C-130 or refused a requests for jets to fly overhead. And it certainly isn't his place to offer up suggestions for how the military should do its job. I am sure that they are very good at offering up suggestions that they feel are viable to the President.

So are you in the camp that:

A) the President, without the suggestion from the military leaders in the room, should have started telling local air units to take off and maybe send in forces on the C-130?
Or
B) do you think the generals were screaming at him yelling "Our men are dying! We need you to authorize jets and the C-130!" but he refused?

You are 100% incorrect. A foreign embassy is under attack...the military is laying out options immediately for reprisals and/or to get the people out...LP (Leon Panetta) has already admitted he was on the phone in the situation room IN THE WH!!! LP is receiving info and plans are either being laid to act, not act, or other options, and if LP is receiving info re an ongoing attack of a US embassy, you can bet your arse BHO was either in the room with him, or receiving updates every 5 minutes.

Testimony has already been given that the embassy requested and WAS GRANTED by the Lybian govt to use its airspace...you think that happens at a low level tier of the State Dept or the DOD?? Hell f$%^## no!!!

He is the CIC, the military will jump in the Atlantic if ordered to do so. A President is given options, many options by top brass and he is making the call to use or go in a different direction.

There would be no screaming at the CIC, generals lose jobs for it. But if BHO refused sound action that was laid out him, shame on him.

The following DID NOT happen: BHO did not receive any input for miliatry options and was begging for advice on how to act. That is a certainty.
