Jenkins doesnt have a problem with it because it will make the TEAM better. More competition will push everybody in the secondary.

Where as reggie was more concerned with himself, and how drafting ingram would minimize his role.

Just one thing I'll say about Reggie is that he was already sharing time with Thomas plus whoever was our third back in whatever year.

When we drafted Ingram first round with Thomas and that third back(Ivory at that time) still on board it was pretty obvious to Reggie he would never be a feature back here which is what he wanted.

He didn't live up to his contract and knew he was playing out that last year as is(much like Harper next year). So at that point it was more him knowing the whole situation and what he wanted for himself and knew the best thing for him was to leave.

It was never because he thought he was getting cut or traded. It was all about his role. He wanted a bigger one and knew it wasn't happening here so he said goodbye.

With Jenkins, this is just one guy to share time with and he has been said to be versatile enough to play 3 spots(talking about Vaccaro). So while Jenkins will likely not be a full time starter he will still get a good amount of snaps(more than Reggie would have).
