I've said before, it is better to let a non-bookreader be right on a theory than to call it a spoiler. When it is just a theory no one knows if it is true or really going to happen. It's just the thoughts of a watcher.
My only problem with Billy is, how many people are that confident in things that happen in this series? Every watcher in this thread is saying "How the eff are we supposed to know who this guy torturing Theon is?" And then Billy Badass comes in saying its so obvious. It just doesn't add up for me and I have rewatched with subtitles and paid attention to the best of my ability.
If in fact, Billy you are just really freaking smart, then cool, that's awesome you picked up on all of this.

the show, is doing a great job of making it hard to know for sure who has Theon. There are strong hints that it is a Bolton, and is the Bastard. Hints since last season.
But the way things changed between mediums, no one knows for sure. He didn't seem to be in control during the torture. I read and I'm not sure that is Bolton's Bastard.
Anyway.
Both threads are more fun when discussing the show.
If you want to be a closet reader, then fine, just hold theories that are based on book speculation to yourself.
IMO, the two threads were better when it was show discussion and book discussion.
This reminds me of "Cartmanland" on South Park. If you have something and tell people they cannot come, they are going to want to see what it is about.
Many of us call out people for posting in this thread, only to later post in this thread.
(also, in May's defense. Looking at the casting gives away spoilers. )

I was actually wrong initially about a lot of that storyline - I posted that I thought the Torturer didn't have any men with him. I also though that maybe Theon's captors were dressed as Boltons.
I rewatched some season 2 episodes and validated some of the stuff I remembered.
Robb did tell Lord Bolton that all Ironborns would be granted mercy if they helped bring Theon to Robb, alive. It happened in Season 2, Episode 8. So that tells me Ironborns captured Theon after Lord Bolton told his Bastard to convey the message. I watched it last night.
If what I posted came off as me acting like I knew more than what the show has given us, I apologize.
