gotta love the cast iron

The Kroger by my house sells hockey puck-sized "sliders". I find they're perfect to mash into a burger with this method. Reminds me of the burgers we'd make when I worked at Steak and Shake in college.

That burger is crusty just the way I like them. Now I want a burger instead of soup, but I can't chew in one.
