Global Warming Gumbo

In honor of Al Gore and this cold weather, I'm thinking about a shrimp gumbo tonight. Who's on board with that?
But I have 3 questions:
(1) Should I use tomatoes in my gumbo?
(2) What cleverly marketed and overly expensive beer should I drink?
(3) Short or medium grain rice?

Sure. Why not? They are especially good with a peanut butter roux.
Medium grain rice.
I got nothing for the beer.
I drink Mich Ultra because it tastes like water and I can drink alot of them.

Tomatoes? sure - your gumbo. Is your house earthquake proof?
Beer - Miller Light in teh can - So it is beach friendly.
Rice - I'm a Long Grain Mahatma in my gumbo guy, unless we are doing Thai and then it's sticky shorts for me. Actually need to do Thai tonight, now that I thought about it. Something about sticky shorts brought a hankering on me.
