re: How badly would a regular joe be injured running the ball against the niners D?

gotta remember, after you get hit once, you'll probably be like the real NFL RBs and start shite talking back and forth. they're not gonna want to give up yards to someone like you, and you'll want another crack at them

I'm 100% certain that I'd be talking shit, especially after I gained my 8 yards.

Who is blocking for me? If I got to pick a Hall of Fame O-line and the best of the best blockers, who knows, I may score a TD.

LT-Anthony Munoz
LG-Larry Allen
C--Mike Webster
RG--John Hanna
RT--Erik Williams (in his prime)

TE--Bavaro
WR--Hines Ward
WR--Mike Irvin
FB--Darryl Johnston

I would take my chances on gaining a first down before sliding

I weight 165 but my bench is somewhere around 325 and my squat is in excess of 500. Pat Willis would have to be unblocked and get a clean shot on me for me to even go down. I would probably be initiating contact anyway and still driving legs through the whistle.

Most of the other guys in the thread would be concussed and suffer with internal bleeding within 3 carries though.

you're the sucker for asking fortysomethings, fiftysomethings, and one dead guy to block for you

should have picked Peyton Manning as the QB to give a deep threat and maybe audible you into a HB draw to give you plenty of green space

i'm pretty athletic and in decent shape, but i would imagine one of the nagging injuries i have would require surgery after being hit by a lb or safety, which if i get hit by a safety, he was either blitzing or multiple players missed assignments.

I'd take Lorenzo Neal over Moose and TO--yes, TO--over Irvin.
