Muppet, how long did you play XI? THIS ALONE should give you hope, do you remember how long it took for SE to address ANYTHING in XI?!?!?!?! HOLY COW!
This is being addressed right now.. I'm pretty impressed with Yoshi's ability to customer support.. I really am.

I actually managed to play for quite a while after around 11:30. There was a lot of lag on Ultros and I got 90000 a few times, but I was able to get back in easily each time.
