Basically filling up 1/3 of the stadium

Does MLB do paid or actual attendance?

They've only had 9 home games and it's been in the 40s up here.
Doesn't help much.

Ya, last night was the first game where the weather has been nice. I think we lead the league in rainouts so far.

Miami 80 degrees
Cleveland 40 degrees
Cleveland will draw more than Miami easily by season's end.

I'm more taken aback by the fact that the supposed best team in baseball can't rise out of the middle of the pack in attendance.

You know it is bad when you go on the road and see more fans than you do at home.

Have you tried to park at a Braves game? It sucks, and hoping on Marta and then a Marta bus sucks as well.

Has to be paid attendance. I've been to two Astros games this year. There is no way in hell 49.1% of Minute Maid was full. 30% would still be a stretch.

When the front offices of the AL and NL merged in 1992, it was decided that “paid attendance” would be what was tracked; after all, that’s the figure that impacts revenues and revenue-sharing. The number counted as paid attendance does not include VIPs, comps, or media. Unlike the NFL, NHL, and NBA, Major League Baseball said that if revenue-sharing was part of paid attendance, clubs needed to report only the actual number of tickets sold.

It's crazy to think LSU baseball at the New Box outsells the last years of the Expos.

Forget the New Box, one night LSU played Tulane in the Superdome and outdrew a couple of games that were played in the majors- one was the Expos. They mentioned it on Sportscenter.

They do that at the Box, too.. when there's games in the Midwest and Colorado with 500 people there.
I meant averaging selling more tickets for the length of both seasons is pretty impressive.. Obviously the MLB season is about 40 more home games.

Isn't is customary when quoting a source word for word to to either acknowledge the source , put the statement in quotation marks, or provide the link?
