They were rock stars. They'd finish filming for the day and go to parties, hang out with mick jagger...seeing how their careers went, I don't blame them

Do I even need to say that? Hamill has had a good career doing voice work, but he's not going to parties with the biggest celebrities on the planet. Fisher didn't do a thing.

Dude... both Fisher and Hamill went on to become very successful writers. Just because you didn't see them in everything in the 80s like Ford doesn't mean that they had a meaningless career. Hell, after A New Hope, Ford went on to bomb at the box office for another 3 years before Empire came out. After that he was lucky Lucas and Spielburg decided to do Raiders or he would have been in worse shape than either of them because he was already past 40. Plus, Fisher comes from a pedigree she wouldn't have to work unless she wanted to.

As far as Hollywood goes, only Harrison Ford had a good career after Star Wars.
Becoming a comic writer and a voice actor isn't exactly doing it up big in Hollywood.

There is a natural grit to things that cannot be duplicate with a computer no matter how hard you try .

I'm sorry, I thought we were talking about actors, you tool. The point is, for both Hamill and fisher this was the zenith of their careers. They were incredibly famous when these photos were taken. Fisher speaks quite openly about it. They were a listers. This was also the height of their success.
