A buddy of mine said the caught a few in the surf last week. I know last year I caught great this time of year. Hope the weather starts to cooperate, cause I'm going in a couple of weeks.

still too early. when those 12 days or so of strong / consistent tides that come in late May/early June, should kick off the surf season.

Weather is still to inconsistent now. Not saying you wont catch fish, but numbers will climb in Mid May..
