LSU always lands at least 90% of La. prospects.

I bet you don't have a problem with landing kids like Clifton Garrett and Ethan Pocic, do you?

It happens. The meltdown is gonna happen because he's a 5*. That and it's BAMA. Everyone hates BAMA.

Some of you people need to relax. After the a-day visit, his mother said that she prefers the academic support at LSU more than at bama. Having mom on the LSU side is always a good sign(except with Landon, but Landon didn't even live with his mother, so going against her wishes wasn't really as major as people made it out to be).

Cam's tone definitely changed to being even more pro-LSU after that visit. Signing day is a looong way away and anything can happen, but everything is just fine right now. Really. People need to chill.

Yeah well, I don't think auburn will be too much of a factor with the guys we really want for at least a few years. That new staff isn't nearly as aggressive as Trooper and the boys were.

There was a time when Greg Robinson would have followed Trovon to the end of the earth. He just really looked up to that guy. Plus every time he left auburn he would come home with gifts. That was impossible to beat.

I will be very surprised if Robinson doesn't sign with LSU.

He has everything he should want at LSU. A great offensive coach, a true pro-style offense, great academic support, and a coaching staff that feels like family--LSU lock!

I hear ya, but the thing is LSU could not win on Louisiana talent alone. As Prom said, we are excited to get guys like Pocic, Jennings, Herron etc, etc. We got Pocic from Il and Bowers from NJ last year, we could get Garrett and Blacknall from Il and NJ respectively this year. As long as we keep getting 90% of the La guys we want and continue to recruit nationally, we'll be just fine. The key to recruiting is who you get, not who you don't get.

I agree with this. Everyone needs to hit the brakes. Mom is on the good guys side right now. Let things play out and I still see Cam and hootie coming here just my 2 cents. From everything I am reading.

you really need to reconsider that. Hate Auburn more if you like, but they are not near the threat that Bama is and Gus did not coach at LSU. If we lose in state guys, I'd much rather it be like McKnight, where we never have to face them. For in state guys we lose

If Cam R would come to LSU as a package deal with Cam S., I think that would be more than fair. I would take that deal.

I'm not interested in Sims, and I'm even less interested in any package deal that doesn't feature two players that are both takes.

Why would Sims not be considered a take, recruiting guru? Hes in the top 10 in the state according to most analyst.

Makes sense. Passing on 4 star instate big WR that you desperately need while jading the #1 OL in the nation is solid decision.

That being said, it's not a package deal.

LSU hasn't offered him and according to Shea Dixon, Sims didn't look good at camp last year. Not sure if they (LSU) are missing something and maybe he just had a bad camp or if the other analysts are missing something and just ranking him based on his measurables? If LSU not offering Sims alienates Robinson, there is nothing we can do.
