A Notre Dame/OSU Championship game would have been the shite.

You obviously never watched Ohio State this past season. Their lines were the strongest part of the team.
I watched plenty of Ohio State games. Cal was a below average (3-9) Pac Ten team, and Cal put up over 500 yards of offense against Ohio State in Columbus. Not very impressive in Ohio State's only OOC game against a BCS opponent. Ohio State's lines looked better against most of the crap that the rest of the B1G were fielding.

I'm not going to go as far and say that they would go 6-6, but I do think 10-2 would be more reasonable. This is still tOSU we're talking about, and they aren't recruiting poorly.

With A&M's 2012 schedule for Ohio State:

Florida - tossup
@ SMU - win
SCSU - win
Arkansas - win
@ Ole Miss - win
@ Louisiana Tech - loss (if Indiana put 49 on them...)
LSU - loss
@ Auburn - win
@ Mississippi State - win
@ Alabama - loss
SHSU - win
Missouri - win

8-4 or 9-3

Is it called recruiting when you deposit money into bank accounts?

If that is the case, then yes they recruited him.

Indiana scored more than 35 points three times all last season: 45 against UMass in a win, 39 against Ball State in a loss, and 49 against Ohio State in a loss

The 49 points they scored against Ohio State was their season high. Louisiana Tech, on the other hand scored LESS than 40 points only once last season.

Louisiana Tech and Ohio State's one common opponent? Illinois. Both put 52 on Illinois. Both allowed just over 20 points (Ohio State allowed 22, La. Tech allowed 24)

We gave up like 18 points to Indiana in the last minute of the game due to lack of focus. That game really wasn't close...

Are you trying to use the transitive property to predict the outcome of a football game? You can't be that stupid.

their schedule is even weaker this year...they should go undefeated again and then get hosed by whichever SEC team they play.

Yes it is but they will have the possibility of a B1G Championship game to help with that some.

Let's be clear. There's only one or two SEC teams that will be good enough this year to get to that game. Just like every other season. The rest of the league? No. No chance at that game.

Let's be crystal clear...you may be right that only one or two have a shot, because of them beating each other. However, at least 6 SEC teams would give they Bucs all they want.
