ive never been, so any advice from others is welcome. i'd especially like to know about parking and the food situation. im really looking forward to the black crowes, the roots, the black keys and gary clark jr. cant wait!

went a few years ago. had a lot of fun - couldnt give specifics though with regards to parking, or really what is cant miss - had a hotel towards the suburbs and just cabbed it so both myself and the lady could drink.
it was about as simple as could be. we wandered pretty much without purpose (outside a few "must see" acts) for 3 days straight in the festival and on beale street - worked out well.

I'm going. Pretty excited about the lineup. I'd also like to know what's up with the food & parking situations since I'll have to drive to the park every day. Any advice anyone?

Might switch the Roots for ZZ Top. I'm not as familiar with the Roots' music as I probably should be, and the wife loves some ZZ Top.
Would go for Gary Clark but we saw him last year at Hangout and we both really like AWOLNATION.
