They close early on Sundays, but yes definitely some of the best Mexican in this area. Truly remarkable.

This. Their fajita plate is incredible. I get the Chicken Beef AND shrimp and destroy it; it is just wonderful. i remember their queso being pretty damn good as well

La Pagua is hands down the best in the area imo. Pretty amazing stuff. Be sure to ask for the chile sauces (green and red).

We haven't been to the new location. Just as good as old place?
My faves are these tacos: barbacoa, cochinita and al pastor. Haven't had the lengua (tongue) taco.

It's definitely on my list of places to eat. Haven't had much great Mexican food in Lafayette.

Haven't been to the new location but I'd say they have the BEST Mexican in Lafayette, the tacos are great, chimmi is pretty damn good too

New location is the exact same as the old except larger. It gets pretty packed at lunch which is a good thing imo. I was pretty sure the place they are at now is cursed. La Pagua looks to be breaking the trend.
