So they call that cross check on Abdelkader, but not when they just did the same thing to Zetterberg?

You're all wrong. The correct answer is Jim Ross.

You're right, just so we can kick their arse in front of our home crowd and not in Chicago

I'm just giving you a hard time, btw

Hard to take 4 in a row from the best team in hockey, Wings will regroup and take game 6.

This is the first time since game 1 the Blackhawks look like they even belong on the same ice as the Red Wings and not in the ECHL playoffs.

I'm really hoping this series goes 7. This round needs a good series that doesn't involve California teams.

Blackhawks haven't looked great, but they haven't played horribly in the last couple games.

They were a couple bad post shots and penalties from running the last two games.

I think this game is great, they've been playing pretty good hockey recently and getting bad breaks. They need the confidence from this game to be the team they are, because they weren't getting the breaks the last few games.

It would be huge for LA to win tonight in San Jose and get some guys a bit of rest but I think it will go to game 7. LA vs SJ has been a war.

And they always lax the calls in the playoffs. This hurt Chicago. They had to change the way they play and it took a couple of games for it to set in, since the Minnesota series was like a prom dance.

But the biggest change, besides the D line reuniting of two Blackhawks oldtimers, was putting Sharp on the first line with Toews. Bryan Bickell slamming the Toews stalkers around, along with his dangerous shot just wasn't enough to get Toews going.

Look for the Redwings to try and re-injure Sharp in game 6 quickly. If they can't stop that line, they could be in trouble. Too bad it took getting outcoached and pinned to the wall before Chicago started really stepping it up. It's not like they haven't stopped making calls in the playoffs in seasons past. It happens every year. Surely they didn't think they could just waltz to the Cup?

Chicago has much more depth, even with the new first line, as Shaw displayed on the second line with his 2 goals. Got to hand it to coach Q for setting up the new first line, though, but you know Babcock will have an answer. I think that answer is kill Sharp.

Speaking of which, is Kronwall still alive?

I guess Toews found out how to finally score on Howard - bank it off his frickin' face.

God I love hockey!
