Yep. It's a different type of license than a bar because more than 50% of their income comes from food, not alcohol. Restaurants are good to go. Bars are a no go for CC.

I was told in my class yesterday that if the restaurant sells alcohol, you are not allowed to carry. But he said that would be changing with the new bill.

I don't have a permit (yet) but I understood it to mean, bars are a no-go no matter what, and you weren't allowed at the bar itself or in a designated bar area, which many restaurants were designed with to distinguish a smoking area from non-smoking.

It is a question I intend to directly ask my instructor, whomever that may be.
