Micah Eugene was a diamond in the rough too.
Our under rated recruits, 3* or below, are better than majority of other 3* or below recruits. Plus, there are a lot of areas around LA that doesn't get a lot of media publicity that is loaded with talent. River parishes, Acadiana / Breaux Bridge area.

I'll also say that the sites don't have the staff to properly recruit LA. It's not the most accessible area, so if you don't go through camp circuits, you may go unnoticed.

And lots of coaches who don't try to get players noticed.
