I can't see us dealing Lopez unless we make a move that brings in a starting-quality center as his replacement.

We have Jason Smith and Louis Amundson on the roster, but both are backups rather than starters.


We'd need to pull off a trade for another center, draft one like Alex Len (ugh), or sign one such as Pekovic in order to make him expendable.

I agree. I just mentioned Lopez because his name was brought up.

I really don't think we're gonna gut our roster to bring in guys like Bledsoe. Monty mentioned depth multiple times in that press conference and how that was one of the major differences in many of the better teams in the league. Dell mentioned multiple times that they set themselves up for this offseason, with this cap room, for a reason.

With our pick and the money we have to spend we can get better at PG and C without having to get rid of Vasquez or Lopez
