In stephensville under some random camp's boat shed. I had just found some fish when the rain started, then lightening came until I shite my pants and headed for cover.

Oh and my trolling motor pull cord popped so I can't get it out of the water.

Screw driver to the pins on the side of the mount. I break three strings per year

You should just be poor like me and not have one with the stringy pull up thingy.

Third time it broke in the last 3 uses... I keep retying the same one

But this time I can't reach the remaining cord with the needle nose.

No screwdriver

Use the needle nose or a knife tip to push the pins in, it should work. We break those damn strings all the time too.

Tip of needle nose to those side pins. It's easy as can be. I don't even care about breaking the string anymore. Hell, I've pushed them forward with my fingers before.

That bastard would be coming up if I was you.

Fish might kick arse after the rain.

Can't reach the pins with needle nose on this minn Kota, fancy housing around it blocks it.

I pulled it up as much as possible so it out the water when on plane. Just need to get it up to trailer it

Dang. Never seen that kind. I've done it on larger Minn Kota and Motorguide.

Rather be lost in the woods than found at work

Wish I was fishing

I did. Figured I'd catch enough and head in when it started to get rough.

I didn't catch enough...

Maybe that will give you time to think about why you didn't pay attention in spelling class growing up

be careful!

on the trolling motor rope thing. I changed mine last year after 3 or 4 years of service, the new one broke already. got some spectra 3/8". it was a bitch to get in there and tied, but I don't think it will ever break. I will post up a picture of the break if it ever does.
