I'm seeing on The Hag's site and a few others an appearance at Champions Square on 6/29. Unable to find any info whatsoever about the show. Anyone have any insider knowledge?

Finally realized that my music heroes are dying off. Not passing up any more chances to see em.

Yep. Saw him a couple years ago and caught George Strait a couple weeks ago before he hangs it up.

Still need to see George Jones and Willie. Most of the others passed before I was old enough.

My parents are going to see him in San Antonio for his last show I believe.

I saw Merle open for Bob Dylan in Connecticut when I was in high school. 2004 maybe, not sure. Since that show I have bought quite a few of his albums and would love to see him again, now that I appreciate his music more.

Amos Lee opened the set before Merle Haggard at that show, it was one good night for music.

Don't guess you caught him in time Slick. I saw him in Biloxi a few years ago. He didn't play very long, but he could still do it. Tons of blue hairs in the house though. I got my toe runned over by a Rascal in the beer line. True story.

Nevermind. Found it. Looks like a pretty cool place for a show. Anybody seen a concert there?

Yeah I dropped the ball on that one. Oh well, thinking about going sit in my pool house with a fifth of whiskey and and spinning some of his old records tomorrow night.
