There is decent country out there. You just have to search places other than radio. Nothing beats the greats though Willie and Waylon and David Allen Coe.

If you want an example of how country radio right now is pushing the true traditional artist out......

Most agree that George Strait is greatness. Usually when he puts out a single, it's good enough to be a bona fide hit. His latest single 'Give It All We Got Tonight' has only creeped up the charts and a lot of that is due to a grass roots effort. If you are one who listens to mainstream country (I do a good bit) on the radio, do you hear Strait's new song? No you don't. But Florida Georgia Line can have 2 songs in the country top 10 and Shelton is on 2 top 10 songs as well.

I'm not saying chart position is what it's all about but when some of the shite that gets major airplay passes up King George, that's just wrong. Maybe George knows this is the time to retire.
