Here's the latest bleacher report video.

LINK

Compare it to how he looked in the first episode.

I really think he can do this.

No doubt he can do it ...the question is he committed enough to put the time in once he signs with a team,it takes a lot of time and effort on the practice field and in the film room to be an nfl qb.he seems to be focused ,I hope someone gives him a shot.

Someone post a pic from the first video to what he looks like now! He is obviously working hard you can tell just by the weight he's lost. The talent is there, but we'll just have to see how the decision making is and if he can keep it up. I'm pulling for him.

Jesus Christ, right???

Holy shite the guy hasn't played a down in 3 years and after two months he drops 40 pounds and is spraying lasers all over the field with the tightest spiral of any QB in the NFL right now.

shite I know there is so much more to being an NFL QB than just arm, but if he can get focused in the film room and the chalk board as well, there is absolutely no reason why he can't at least be a backup for years to come.

There is no way in hell there are 64 better QBs than JR is he's truly dedicating himself, and we have documented proof of his dedication.

As a Saints fan I would absolutely love to have him in the disaster scenario if Brees were to go down.

It still baffles me that NO team ever gave JR a second chance. How many #1 picks are completely out of the league after 3 years and never even get a minimum contract by a second team to come in and compete??? Hell Ryan Leaf bounced around to 4 different teams before he was out of the league, and still had tryouts with several more teams years later. That Raiders franchise with Kiffen/Davis was just an absolute shite show and JR was unfortunately the poster boy for that dysfunction.

And Garcia is right on. Arizona, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and I would think Buffalo and Minnesota as well would be excellent spots for the type of O JR would be comfortable in.

Speaking of, Garcia looks like he could still be out there playing too. Guy is a great mentor for JR, and I just wish there was a way JR could have a guy like him with him full time.

That's going to be the key, what happens when he isn't being trained every single day by a team like this.

Can he keep it going on his own? I just truly hope this doesn't fade out and nothing ever comes of his hard work. If he stays in shape on his own, JR will have a lot to be proud of in the very near future.

I still believe he has more raw talent than any QB currently in the league

Anyone can have all the talent in the world but not be able to process NFL game plans and defensive schemes. I've always loved the physical talent of JR. Watching him in Oakland was embarrassing.

Yeah, considering how great everyone else on that team looked it was a real head scratcher why JR couldn't get right.

Yeah, that franchise has been and continues to be a train wreck. I believe whatever issues Russell had were exacerbated in that environment. It says something that he actually took steps to rehabilitate his body and his image with these workouts. What he's doing isn't easy, and he doesn't need the money.

So all in all, props to him. At the very least, he is getting into shape, taking care of himself, and working hard. Even if the NFL doesn't work out, he's done a lot.

Laser beams. As stated, he makes every throw look effortless. Hope he gets another shot.

I'm not a Pittsburgh steelers fan, but I could definitely see him backing up Big Ben. JR throws some of the most beautiful passes I've seen, and I think his work ethic is back on track.
