All I want is the answer to this question. Hopefully you know it, and the only reason I didn't post in your thread was to make sure I didn't see anything else...

Spoilers Below -

I found this statement at the end of a Grantland piece on GOT and i was intrigued.

quote:

And most importantly, whoever this mysterious Kook is (which, using visual clues, you should be able to find out at least what house he serves), just learned that Bran and Rickon are still alive.

1) I'm very confused by this "kook" thing. What is it?
2) Who do we 100% that it is (just Bran and that weird kid, right?)?
3) Basically, I didn't understand a damn thing about that whole scene. Any explination would be great, with mild spoilers allowed. I want to know who the other kook is OR I would probably rather know what house he serves? I don't understand any of the dream sequences and their consequences

What? Please explain this statement

Serves Bolton. I can tell you who he is if you'd like.

Bran and his brother Rickon.

He is referring to the guy who was talking to and playing Theon.

We know who it is. A viewer should be able to figure it.

(Coco spoilers) It's Bolton's that have Theon.

The kook is a Bolton man. WHO he is, hasn't been said yet. Can answer it if you wish as his name was given in HBO previews.

Just talking about the scene when Theon confided in a Northlander that the sons of Winterfell were not dead.

The person who freed Theon is Ramsay Bolton, the bastard son of Roose Bolton, one of Robb Stark's lieutenants.

hence "you little bastard"

the whole escape was planned to earn Theon's trust, then mind frick him. He now knows that Bran and Rickon are still alive thanks to Theon; everyone else thinks they're good as dead.

Bran's dream is simply a reenactment of the first episode of the series, where Cat begs him to stop climbing because he'll fall - Bran still doesn't fully remember that Jaime pushed him out the window.

ok, that last response was helpful.

Tell me a bit more about the Boltons if possible.

Roose is the guy who just showed up a few episodes ago, right?

His bastard son works for Theon's dad?

a kook is a crazy person. The guy played Theon just to get close to him, make him feel free and confide in, only to have it taken away.

The dream is, Brandon must catch the 3-eyed crow. It is important to figuring out his plan, and his Warg abilities.

No that was a ruse, the bastard works for his father Roose Bolton, who is always by Rob's side on the battlefield.

Bannermen to the Starks. Their seat is the Dreadfort. Their sigil is the flayed man. They like to flay their prisoners.

He's been around for awhile. Very soft-spoken, bald dude that can be seen in counsel with Robb at various points. He assures Karstark that they shall have revenge for Herrenhal a few episodes ago.

At this point (if i remember correctly) Ramsay is doing his own thing. He doesn't work for anyone.

No prob. It can get confusing but the deeper you get the easier it'll be to remember it all.
