legality of launching yaks off of public roads into a river

will i get ticketed for parking off of a public road and launching a kayak into one of the rivers north of BR (comite/upper amite/thompsons creek, tangipahoa) at a road crossing? can i leave my truck there all day? anyone had any problems with this?

Black people do it all of the time when they are fishing, so no you can't. Make sure your brake tag is up-to-date if you do or you will end up in the clink

If your truck is outside of the highway right-of-way you are trespassing.

Why would it be illegal? It's a public road and a public lake/river.
