The QB's called all of the offensive plays in the Spring Game

Good strategy on CC's part... I can't wait to see a game called by him.

It's really brilliant. Even if he doesn't allow them to do this in a game environment, which I would not recommend, it's a remarkable tool to get in touch with what each quarterback prefers and has comfort with

A friend made the point that with this supposed no huddle attack, QB's might have to do this more often.

Not a bad call, Cameron needs to get these QB's thinking on their own and improving the mindset ought to do wonders for their confidence.

Ok how often is LSU going to be in no huddle? I watch a lot of Raven games and Cam really did not do a ton of no huddle but I like that he is trying to change it up.

Yep... Miles is giving Cam all this free reign in the offseason so that he can take it back in the fall.

I think it really helps with adjustments at the line. In the past it has always been a check with me type adjustments, maybe this gives the QBs a little more say so.

probably a better explanation is they were out-manned pretty badly, especially Rettig, who had a walk-on at RB and one at WR. Purple was using a walk-on at center as well.

not expecting anything, just commenting that those factors probably had more to do with the purple team not scoring vs. the QB's calling their own plays...

That was a brilliant teaching/evaluation move by Cam. And it gave the QB's a little encouragement while adding to the fun of the scrimmage.

Its hard to read sarcasm when that is a typical ranter response.
This is definitely gives the QBs more insight into playcalling and helps develop a better feel for the game.
I didnt expect to learn much about Cam's offense from the spring game but this just adds more mystery. We wont know shite until TCU
