Why did it have to end

Seriously, I don't know what took me so long to watch this show. It's crazy how you really root for some to turn it around and others to die

**Spoilers**

-Although I wish Michael could have straightened up, I was happy when he shot Snoop. She did a great job because I don't think I've hated a character more than her in any show.
-I was pissed when Omar died. I wanted to see an epic throwdown with Marlo
-I was sad for Dookie pretty much the whole time
-Bubbles was awesome
-Bunk was probably my favorite
-Jimmy was awesome, sometimes you love him and other times you hate him

What do I watch now, GOT? I don't think anything will compare.

i think most everyone hated snoop. She got on my nerves alot. But the scene when she was shopping for a new nail gun was great.

I thought the same thing. How could you kill a great character like Omar in that manner. But I guess that's how it is in the hood.

My favorite character. Hands down my favorite besides Marlo and Omar.

This x1000

If you haven't watched Dexter or homeland. Get started. GOT is good but only 2 complete seasons so that will go quick.

ETA: Spartacus...if you havent already. Rome is also good, but only 2 seasons.

I'm caught up on Dexter. I've heard good things on Homeland, though. I don't have Showtime, though. I'll have to check Suddelink when I get home to see if you can get the shows on demand before I subscribe.

Like I said when I finished it about 6 months or so ago, it's great and I can't really explain why it is...it just is. Loved every minute of the show.

It was great because even though some characters had some redepmtion, a lot of them didn't and their stories were just tragic. Michael was a good kid and ended up going down the wrong path. Dookie was the same way, and ended up going down an even worse path (drugs). But the flipside of that is Bubbs, who was on the bad path of drugs, but showed that it CAN be turned around (even though he tried and failed at it a few times). Marlo seemed like he smartened up, but then showed that respect in the streets is all he really wanted and he ended up back on the streets yelling out his name. Jimmy was up and down and up and down and then in the middle. Kima was up but then fell into the life. Etc.

shite, even somebody like Omar. Dude was always one step ahead of everybody else and was the fear-installer for everyone in the streets...and he gets got by some kid who doesn't even know enough to respect or fear him.

Just a great, great example that most things don't have happy endings.

This is why I just wait until all the seasons are complete before I watch something. The Walking Dead is the only one I don't do this with. My wife and i just started season 4 of dexter, and are about to start homeland. But for Spartacus, The Wire, and any other we watch, I just wait until the season is over, or series in some cases, I download them and watch them when I want and however many i want.

This is exactly what I do for most shows.

As for what to watch next, I'm finishing The Shield and highly recommend it. Similar to The Wire. Not as in depth, but still fantastic.
