I had to look up all the back story of how the aliens got to Earth, why there are so many different kinds, and why some of their ships were just sitting dead in space and occassionally falling onto the planet.

They really should have spent the first half of the pilot developing this as after two episodes you have no clue. All they have said is terra farming .... 8 races... war. Now shite rains from the sky from falling space ships. That said I will give the show a few more episodes.

Me too, there is a detailed history on wiki. I'm not sure why or how that is out there perhaps due to the video game that was released.

Just finished reading the wiki and man if they had even briefly touched on that it would have made the show so much better.

i'm quickly losing interest in this show. 3 episodes in and i'm about ready to quit. I was really excited for this one I guess my expectations may have been to high. i'll give a few more episodes but I may bow out

Totally lost interest after the last episode. The mayor just gets treated like shite. It has some cool concepts but the writing/acting is just awful.
