Did Fury move up in the bullpen with that performance?

Lets just be happy we can feel more confident when he comes in.
Especially since he performed that well under pretty extreme pressure..any mistake could have lost the game. It wasn't in a tourney..but was still pressure situation.

i think he gained more trust to actually be used more, but im not sure he is jumping anyone. He was great though.

He pitched well enough to get more innings for sure, but is still one game

He definitely threw the relief appearance of his life IMO. That being said, the strike zone was incredibly pitcher friendly last night...he definitely got a few strike calls he definitely will not with other umps (all the pitchers did last night). So, must approach with caution in terms of saying we should start bringing him more in very tight games.

As far as the bullpen and the trust I have in them, my order goes:
Cotton
Bourgeios
Bonvillain
Devall
Fury
McCune
Berry
Rumbelow
Newman
Sewald
Butler
Lamarche

Yeah, he was okay. I just feel like he gets racked alot. He seems to throw more than he seems to pitch, if that makes sense.

Interesting. I perceived that too, yet a boatload of runs were scored. Baseball is funny.

...and he benefitted from the liberal strike zone. It allowed him to get ahead in the count. When he can do that, he will be good because his slider is very good.
The problem is when he has to throw the fastball over the plate. That is when he gets hit hard.
But, in situations where the strike zone I wide (happens a fair amount) he probably should be considered over some of the guys who are ahead of him.

He just wants to announce his presence with authority.

Fury coming out of nowhere and McCue getting back to good-McCue form, this is the best our relief pitching has been in a long time.
