Tell me this Rex, did South Sudan have the right to secede from Sudan? Did the numerous Slavic nations have the right to leave Yugoslavia? It appears to me that anyone has the right to do whatever the hell they want if they can emerge victorious in a potential armed conflict for that right or if they have enough international support. If Quebec decided to secede from Canada and Canada bombed the frick out of Montreal would you support Canada?

Rex can't wrap his brilliant little mind around the notion that one can be sincerely loyal to a nation and it's ideals at one point and sincerely feel those bonds of allegiance to no longer exist at a later point.

I guess loyal Americans are some of the biggest hypocrites of all, huh Rex?

At what point did this nation become "indivisible"?

At what point does any nation become indivisible? It is an ideal, not some rigid ideological tenet. Self determination will always reign supreme. No state is ever "indivisible" except to the naive or those in power.

Did Rex bail or did he fall victim to an 8 ball?

When and how did "indivisible" become an ideal for the South?

Yes, I believe the Construction Student Association has the right to secede from the American Contractor's Association.

Ideal is a pretty good word for it. It's definitely not a fact.

It just amazes me that everytime some group overseas decides to make an independent nation the left wants to send them food, supplie and weapons and hen condemn the country that attempts to crush the insurrection. When a group of states here at home just discusses the possibility of leaving peacefully they get their panties all in a knot.
