According to Hunt Palmer on 104.5 just now. Allen has replaced Hunter and is practicing with the 1st team D. I hope he has a breakout year.

Wouldn't it be because Allen was behind Rasco who is injured?

Hunter was getting pushed around a bit too much

Glad someone has a brain between their ears

Could be. We can't tell from the OP because we don't know who was on the other side of the line.

Pretty sure it's been rasco and Allen most of the spring.

No every report I've read from practices has had JA and JR as the starters (even though JR is out for remainder of spring)

Impossible. Did the coaches see Hunter's pic?

I noticed on the last Big Cat drill he smoked somebody good and I asked myself who the hell was that...

It's because he's got a girl's name. (jk)

Allen has looked pretty good to me in the drills. Hunter not so much. Well, Hunter looks good in the drills where you see a lot of mobility. He has excellent quickness. He does kinda remind you of how Mingo would get pushed around a bit on run plays but he had that explosion that could nullify it.
Anyways, Jordan was highly recruited. It's his time or never. Seems like he's been here forever...

Hunter needs to work on technique against the run. Probably use him on pass-rushing. He's going to play.

This was before the Rasco injury. Hunt Palmer from Bayou Bengals Insider was being interviewed on 104.5 Espn by Matt Moscona and Moscona asked which players have been standing out this spring. He said Allen and Mills on defense and Mettenberger and Jennings on offense.
He said at one point in practice today, Allen seemed to be coaching Hunter and telling him where he needs to be and what to do on the field.

Allen was a top 2-3 player in LA and a 4 star. The kid can play.

He probably would've been in rotations last year had he not got hurt.

JA is good buddies with a friend of mine.
Glad to see him kicking arse.

Obviously, I hope both players do well. But, judging by the brief practice clips we get to see, I agree that Allen deserves the nod over Hunter at this point.
