Did crazy Phillip screw himself when he urged Stealth-r-us members to vote as planned after the guys waved their three immunity idols at tribal. Seems Dawn or Andrea would have gone home instead.

If Fillup! had flipped on Stealth-R-Us, his whole identity would have dissolved, and he would have set himself up as an even bigger goat. I think he did the right thing, even though there wasn't much chance the two dudes would be stupid and not play their idols. He just got dealt a very surprising, shitty hand. The cool thing is, this game still holds some surprises.

Yeah it might have been Andrea, but damn glad we got rid of that moron and we get to keep looking at Andrea.

That was one of the best, if not THE best Tribal in all of Survivor history!

If you didn't watch, because you gave up on it, go on CBS.com and watch! You won't be disappointed!
Thank God that nut job is gone!

Great episode. When I met Phillip last week, I asked for a nickname. He said "Tell you what. Go buy my book "The Specialist: The Costa Rican Job" and take a picture of yourself posing with it and I will give you a nickname Phil being Phil.

BTW, this ranks up there all time with Parvati's use of idols.

Yeah that was the best Tribal since Russell gave Parvoti the idol.

The only way it could have been better if somehow they end up being between Phillip and Andrea and Malcolm and Eddie kept their immunity idol.

I was about ready for someone to slap Dawn back into reality last night. What started as the worst episode of Survivor finished with a great tribal.

that was awesome. now they just need to flip the skinny guy who does nothing and one more person and quit freaking trying to flip that horrible tattle tale Dawn. I wish Dawn and blair from facts of life would really get stranded on an island together for eternity.

I was really hoping Malcolm didn't play his idol, but it turns out he knew way better than the viewer. That was awesome. Before the tribal, I was thinking that the smart play would be to keep one under wraps and try to make it as far as possible. But this was way better. He cut the head off the snake. Who knows what happens now.

As for Phillip. As much as I can't stand him, if he kept that alliance together and made it to the end, there is no denying he deserved to win. It was a joke at the beginning that he thought he was running the show, but the more things progressed, I think he actually was.

Agreed. I wish they'd just roll with Andrea but she just doesn't seem to want to get to the end with those three.

That's really the problem. Those guys are so strong that all the fricking weaklings know they have to stick together because none of them would win a vote against them.

Funny thing is Cochran may have the best shot because he can play the strategic foil to their strength game.

At this point now that Phillip is gone the only one I truly hate is the old hag that was against Reynold and Eddie from Day 1.

If they try to turn her and pit their trust in her they are all fricking morons and deserve to get voted out.

There is ZERO chance she will ever vote with them and if they can't see that from Day 1 they are horrible.

they are going to try. they showed it on the preview

i didnt watch brenda's season, but wasn't she evil that season and just quit instead of getting voting out, causing another person in her alliance to get voted out too? She must have found buddha. She should have buried dawn's fake teeth further in the ground.

Yeah I would keep Cochran on my side until the final Immunity Challenge. You know he won't win it so you would just vote him off last. He makes the final three, he wins IMO unless someone starts to make some major moves.

I was thinking the same thing, because he guessed wrong at the last tribal and asked for the idol but this time I think he knew the other group was in such a panic they had to keep the original vote in line with the slightest of hope that one of the guys didn't use their idols. I am sure Malcolm will be combing the beach for the hidden idols the next morning...but so will everyone else.

If it wasn't for Andrea, he would've guessed right. I actually think that would've been more impressive than this past move. Both of them are pretty awesome and make me like Malcolm even more.

Another thing I thought of was that this move also looks good to future jury members. People would say that he stole Reynold's idol then didn't reciprocate. Well, that is out the window now. I know he didn't give it directly to Reynold, but he saved the Three Amigos.

Anyone else surprised Brenda flying so under the radar? She is my pick to win it right now. Her last season she showed strong in challenges and has some votes in her pocket.

I think the fact that she has so rarely been shown on screen this season (at least in talking heads) is indicative that she doesn't win (or even make the final three). Both she and Eric seem to be competitive and relatively competent but neither has really been focused on so I'd be shocked if either made it to the final three.

My guess for final three is Dawn, Cochran and Andrea based on the amount of time they've been featured. I'd put Malcolm (or possibly Reynold) there but only if one of them makes a run on immunity wins because I don't think the numbers will ever swing back in their favor.

Regardless, a few really good episodes in a row. Definitely dug this season once the focus on the crazies started to diminish.

Besides Phillip, Andrea has been playing pretty hard too. But really Cochran has a feel for what everybody is thinking and playing and Cochran has this one in the bag until the final 3. Nobody would bring him to the final unless he makes a pact with Dawn. That's the only one that would bring him.
