Too much uncertainty for me.

What will earnings be in 3-5 yrs? What will the android base be doing? What will other competitors be doing? Where are all the fan boys from recent years?

3-5 yr I honestly think PM's are a better buy than Apple.
Having said that, load up the truck on Apple, the jinx is on

I bought some at 423 two days ago and will buy more today
It is a 1 report away from hitting the 500$ mark IMO

AAPL has lost ~43% of it's value in the last 7 months while the general market has made new all time highs. This is not the sign of a healthy stock that one should like at buying and holding for a long term investment.

Two years ago, it was in a similar position heading into May.
Earnings were awesome, but the stock sagged in May before it started climbing about $400 and throughout 2012.
I'd wait until Jun/Jul..

Trading at half the valuation of MSFT is just absurd to me.

Nice thoughts so far in this thread, I always learn from the experts on this board.
I was lucky enough to buy Apple before the last split at ~$40 and thought I would hold it for 20 years. Outside of reasons based on fundamentals or analysis, I sold because naming an operations manager as CEO of such an innovative company sent the wrong signal and wouldn't work long term. He's a career supply chain guy and he's probably damn good at it, but that's the opposite end of the spectrum from the leader that AAPL needs.
I hope to buy again at some point, but not while Cook is at the helm.
