I've laughed out loud more in the first 10 minutes of the first episode than I have in most shows on TV now.

Diane: "Wheres your bathroom?"
Coach: "Right next to my bedroom."

First few years were the best,by far. Still one of my all time favorite shows.

I never watched it all the way through, just caught reruns on Nick at Nite. Probably seen them all, but not all the way through in order.

Found the show I'll be falling asleep to for the next few months.

I did too. Early into the third season and its making my life fantastic. Truly an amazing grad school course on comedy.

The first episode of Cheers is probably the best-written pilot in sitcom history

I've got it recorded on the Hallmark channel. 2 per night. They are up to seventh season now.I believe.. Around '89.

Reelz just started over. Every friday I believe.

Man I love that show.

Yep. That's why it's an all time great sitcom. It's timeless

I have been rewatching as well. The first season of Cheers is absolutely amazing. Much much funnier than the stuff today.

I haven't watched Cheers since it was on Nick at nite. And I was just a kid. Need to revisit.

This was my situation.

I was probably around 10 when it aired. I would watch it ALL time. I would video tape episodes and watch them in our car VHS player on trips. It was good then, but there are so many more nuances and jokes that I didn't get back then.

It's incredibly well-written.

I love when the fiance comes back and she tells him, thank God you're back they've been arguing over the sweatiest movie of all time. He looks around and says Cool Hand Luke

Coach just threw himself down the stairs to get the new girl in his building.

I lost it.
