What is Matt Fury's role with the team?

I know he was on the team as a walk-on in 2010, 2011, and 2010 as a sophomore but is not listed on the roster from any of those years. He would be a senior this year.
He's tweeting like he is still on the team, or involved in some way. He supposedly traveled with the team to Arkansas.
Not that big of a deal obviously, just wondering if anybody knows.

That still doesnt explain why he isnt on the roster for the years he played.

No it doesn't. Has nothing about this year...I think he is a equipment manager. I know he is in the lsu baseball program as support staff.

Says his last year was 2011 so yeah if he is with he team it is some type of support staff

Yep, his freshman year was 2010 and apparently he played through 2011 (thought he had some midweek appearances last year, but maybe not).
Academically, this would be his senior year.
