It is not superfluous, in my opinion it may be the only hope for GoT to be discussed without an all out e-war on the M/TV board.

Was wondering this as well. There was a lot of whining and complaining on the "No book readers allowed" topic for people who had questions last week so we figured that having a Middle Ground thread would allow for Q & A without the Book Readers thread giving away too many spoilers.

The board is dark and full of terrors without it.

And after all I've been through, they go and anchor my thread. It was our last, best hope for peace in Westeros. Admins, please remove anchor. I am afraid you will be assaulted with RAs from nonreaders complaining about readers going in their thread if the middle ground thread is not reinstated.

The 2 other threads aren't good enough?

I think we need a thread for those people who only read half of the first book and wear socks with the toes on them.

See how stupid it gets when we have threads on the exact same show just tailored to different groups? We don't have seperate game threads for normal fans and rantards when LSU plays
