nah, i specifically remember going to best buy and trading MLB the show 12 for it when my buddy built his computer. i bought it to see how it looked on pc.
eta: i trying to see if uninstalling origin and then reinstalling will work. i also remember activating it in origin as well.

You don't need to redownload the whole thing. Just reinstall the game from the executable install file you already downloaded.

i have the disk. just uninstalled it and about to reinstall. i'm pretty sure it took the updates out too. won't get to play til tomorrow i bet.
