I've always wanted to see him, but I'm debating on whether or not to drop $120 on two tickets to see him. Does he still have it at his current age?

Saw him in the 80's at Audubon zoo. Could have been any one of you in a sombrero and I would not have known the difference. Every song played to the same non-melody. Only recognized them based on knowing lyrics. Thank God the weather was good, and I had a blanket, hot date and lots of Charter. I'd have been pissed.

I saw him a few years ago with Willie Nelson. It was one of those bucket list things that I just had to do but the show wasn't anything to write home about. I enjoyed Willie's show much more.

I'm a huge Dylan fan and it's nothing like seeing 'The Bobster'
His voice is completely gone. Literally.

That's what I'm afraid of. I'd love to see before he dies but I just cannot bring myself to spend that money just to say I saw him. I saw his Grammy performance from a couple of years ago and it was clear he was stoned and had no idea where he was.

I saw him at Newport in '65 and booed him, the traitor

I've seen him three times.
Once opening for the Grateful Dead in Washington, DC was horrible. really one of the worst shows I've ever seen by anyone.
I saw him a few years later 2002 and it was a really good show. His band was top notch.
Last time I saw him was 2004 at a very small venue in Tulsa, around 1500 people and it was good, not great.
Probably couldn't give $120 though.

Saw him at the UNO arena about a year ago. He is old and very frail and can barely sing anymore but I enjoyed seeing him for historical purposes and because he is one of my favorite musicians

Seen him twice and both times were awesome.
First time I was 16 and he had been my favorite artist for as long as I cold remember. I saw him in 2000 and he was singing some Warren Zevon songs (dude was on his death bed). Dylan was all about playing the keys at that time.
Saw him a few years later with Amos Lee opening and Merle Haggard opening after Lee. Dylan killed it that show. Significantly better than the first time.
I would pay 120 to take someone to see him again, and I'd definitely do it if I had never seen him before. He is the coolest person ever, his songs are masterpieces. Blood on the Tracks turned me from pop music to what I listen to now. My most influential musician so maybe I'm biased.

Overrated as a singer. Probably as a writer too.

I saw him at House of Blues in the 90s and it was outstanding. Saw him again at ACL and he was barely coherent. The years have not been kind. If you want to say you've seen him, then go do it, but he's very hit and miss. You could get something brilliant, or you could get two hours of mumbling out of tune.

I like Dylan as much as anyone....
Finally got to see him a couple of years ago with John Mellencamp, Willie and Dylan. His band was awesome, but you seriously could not understand a word he sang.
Mellencamp by the way stole the show

Mellencamp is ridiculously underrated. It's cool to make fun of him (mainly because of what I think is concerted efforts of Springsteen fans to discredit him), but he is really outstanding.

Saw him about 10 years ago with Paul Simon in the Cajundome... I enjoyed both but Simon put on a much better live show... I didnt have high expectations for Dylan.. I dont think his type of music lends itself to exciting live shows.. could be wrong..

I was at that concert. It was enjoyable for me as a fan because I knew the songs and appreciated the modern renditions. But his voice is shot. His band is pretty awesome, though.
I probably wouldn't pay what I did to see him again, but like others have said. He's just one of those artists I had to see live at least once.

Now there is someone I wouldn't hesitate to pay good money to see live again. His voice is still 90% of what it once was and his band is fantastic.

Overrated? I don't think anyone has ever said he's a great singer...

Dylan is a demigod to me and his music has literally changed the way I see the world...so therefore I refuse to see him live at this point. It's one of those, "you should never meet your heroes" things for me. I've had chances and passed them up. The Dylan I want to remember lived sometime from '63-'75.
