MLB 13 The Show question

First playing The Show ever. I'm having problems, every time I attempt to throw to first or second base my player just throws the ball home. I have it on button control not analog. Any suggestions?

Yeah, the buttons were arse backward for meat first. The is a setting in the menu to change it to your liking.

I think I figured it out, square is first base and x is second, which makes no sense

Yeah. It took me many a curse word to figure out how to throw to the correct base

Think it goes by the way you're looking, like the view you have, so on RTTS, the buttons are this way, but on the view I have on franchise, its normal.
