Now that I'm over the non-traditional casting (like Lounds as a woman, Fishburne as Crawford, ect) I think this could be a really good show.
ETA: It's still hard to understand Lecter. But I'm starting to accept the fact that Mads is doing Lecter as Harris envisioned him in the novels.

This show is intense. The music is fantastic. The camera angels are great. The acting is superb.
Really really hope this show can keep up this level for a season.

What were the ratings like? I'm hooked as well, but I'm not sure enough people will get into the show and keep it on the air.

Speaking of which, it was "a big Amarone" in the book as opposed to "a nice Chianti" in the movie. They decided to dumb it down for the knuckle-walking moviegoers.

Ratings have been really good for NBC. It's basically a lock to get renewed unless it just completely tanks, which is doubtful
