It's tough to say. Obviously Courtney is a senior who will not play much, if any so he is an option. Collins won't get much PT either, but has a possible future with a nice shot. Hammink could be getting buried under some athletic 3's also.

I'd say Collins, but we didn't sign a shooting guard this year, and we lose Stringer after this season.

As far as least impact, Collins or Courtney.

Man, I hope it isn't Malone. I was excited when we signed him. Kid has range and athleticism for a 7 footer . Looking forward to seeing him grow as a Tiger.

I can't imagine JJ would let a 7 footer with athleticism and skills go.

I can say that that is great news we got Bridgewater. He is skilled, strong, and a good character guy who knows what LSU is about from his older brother. The only thing he needs to show is that he has the drive and toughness to be as good as he can be.

Pardon my ignorance/german issues, but is he that much better a basketball player than football? If so, any way CLM could flip him?

Hammink's ceiling is higher than Collins. If it's between those two getting released, its gotta be Collins.

Per 24/7 Sports, he's the third best player in Louisiana in Basketball.

He doesn't already have a degree does he? If so, get him in grad school and make him a GA. That would have to be the beat scenario if it were possible.

I hate the idea of cutting a senior loose, but I think might dislike ditching rising sophomores who still have room to grow and contribute even more.

No. CLM doesn't have a scholarship to give Bridgewater. He cannot walk onto the football team as a basketball scholarship player. A rule made to combat "the Bear's" tactics of taking every decent athlete in the country.

I've been watching some film on Bridgewater and I'm very impressed with how much he has improved his perimeter game. I watched some film where it looked like he was playing point guard some. The kid really looks dynamic and should be a very good Tiger.

Oh I'm excited to have Bridgewater on our team. I think he will be a great contributor for the next four years, but I don't wanna see anyone leave or not sign

Neither do I. I hate the idea of someone being asked to leave. Now I can understand Courtney if he can be put in as a GA or Hammink if he can stay as walkon, but I hope someone doesn't just get the boot.
