Glad it worked out. Good review as well. Might go this route (single to double for $60) vs the blue bug boiler for $700-800.

List of advantages
- It held two sacks + groceries
- Dual burner
- That cage looking part raises to drain crawfish, and detaches to pour the crawfish.
- Easy drainage on the other side
- Looks BOSS.
Not sure of cost. I would assume $500'ish. It's my buddy's.

Bump. Chicken, have you fired it up full blast or needed to? I am looking to upgrade my whole setup but, like many here, I'm leery of it freezing up. Plan on going with 80 or 82 qt pot. Possibly stainless so I can use it for other things as well. Thoughts, suggestions? TIA

I saw one in action two weeks ago. It does get the water up to temp. fast.
Pretty impressive.

I swapped the regulator from the 20psi it comes with to a 40psi adjustable. No real need to boil with it wide open, but when I do, it boils 40qts (half pot) in a little over 9 minutes. Never froze or iced anything. It's hard to estimate gas usage, because I am boiling 10 minutes faster than I used to. The best feature is the much larger diameter that holds wide pots better.

Mine will ice up, as will my company's but it has 5 jets. I stick my tanks in a tub of water, solves the problem. I want that noisy thing off as soon as possible.
