Well I guess there will be no speculation on his press conference decision.

He's bigger bodied then I realized. His jump shot looks good and he shows great follow through. Also love that he said another aspect of his game is hustle and defense. He did seem a bit nervous, but he's a senior in high school I would be too.

Think they said 6'9 222...and I believe he's every bit of that.

Ultimately I see him settling in at the 4 while Mickey is more of a 3. That being said, they can both swap too. But, if for whatever reason Odo didn't start, I see JOB III/Martin/Mickey at the 5/4/3.

Of course he did. Most HS kids are.

And he definitely looks 6'8" easily (possibly 6'9").

I also don't think he is completely sold on 1 and done. Obviously he wants to (as every ambitious elite talent should), but it's not a guarantee. (or maybe I'm just an optimist )

"How long you plan on staying at LSU?"

What kind of question is that...stupid interviewer

Solid stuff. He definitely wants to make the jump as soon as he is 1st round material. We shall see how early that is.

Another benefit of JOBIII returning. You know he's on a mission to improve his conditioning with his eye on next year's draft. Hopefully he's pushing these young guys like Martin during the summer.

lol this kid is definitely not a 3. He the biggest player on the floor and it would be a waste of talent trying to play him out of position. JOB a man and i know he wish he had this kid skill set. I'm still a jordan mickey fan though. I didn't know he had a legit back to the basket game and reminds me of anthony davis and noel from kentucky with he quick jumping and weakside defense. He definitely underrated

Some poster close to Craig Victor has said many times that if Victor decides to come to LSU Martin is staying another year.

I know they are close, and would love to play together, but Martin is looking to make money out of this. IF he gets 1st round grade, he is gone.

Martin isn't a 1 and done type play IMO. Needs a good bit of Polish to his game.

I can see him leaving as a after his soph or Jr year

Actually, he fits the mold very well of a 1 and done.

A tall, big, ATHLETIC big man with a very high potential ceiling AND a jump shot. He can score, rebound and play defense.

The only thing Martin doesnt have is experience which is probably the least important thing to NBA teams.
